Treasures in the Barn

  • We are an outreach ministry of Christ the Redeemer
    Anglican Church operated by volunteers.

  • All items we sell have been donated.  Donations are
    graciously accepted during hours of operation.  
(Tax receipts are also available upon request)

  • Our Proceeds are used to support local outreach programs.

  • Items we have for sale include (but are not limited to):
    kitchenware, books, clothes, jewelry, toys, furniture and
    other housewares items such as small appliances, etc.

Treasures In The Barn: Treasures in the Barn is an outreach ministry of Christ
the Redeemer Anglican Church operated by volunteers.  All items sold are
donated  to support local outreach programs.


Food Pantry: The Warner Robins Methodist Food Pantry is a mission activity
supported by both local church and non-church organizations. Our Church
provides donations of food stuffs to needy individuals and their families.



Volunteer Medical Clinic: Houston County Volunteer Medical Clinic is a non-
profit facility providing free medical care to working, uninsured citizens of
Houston County. This year we are providing a monetary donation in addition
to paper products and supplies for the clinic waiting rooms.  



Methodist Children’s Home: Christ the Redeemer Church and friends from
the community provide toys and clothing to the children for Christmas. The
mission of the Methodist Children’s home is to provide a healing, nurturing
setting for children in the least restrictive and most appropriate
environment.


Socks For Tots: This is as Outreach Projects to our neighbors in Peach
County. The church will provide clothing items for the Clothes Closet of
Hunt Elementary School in Ft. Valley, Georgia.  


Relay For Life: A team of dedicated people who represent the hope that
those lost to cancer will never be forgotten. Christ the Redeemer Church
Relay Team provides support to the many parishioners and their families, as
well as, members of the community affected by this dreaded disease. If you
wish you join the team, please contact Dotty Cox at mcdotty@cox.net.  


Ministry to Homebound: The Rector provides home communion. Visits from
the Outreach Committee are pre-arranged to provide a special connection
to church-life. If you are in need of this ministry or know of a parishioner in
need, please contact Father Paul at 973-5271 or gerlockp@yahoo.com.


Good Shepherd: Visitors are always welcome at Christ The Redeemer
Church. Within 24 hours of the newcomer’s visit to the church, a member
of Outreach will visit the home with a basket of bread and wine.


Foreign Missions:  Christ The Redeemer Church will be assisting our sister
churches  in the Phillipines to feed children spirtually and physically. We will
purchase goats to be cared for by members of the mission church and the
money gained from the goat’s milk and offspring is used to support the
church. This is an opportunity for the mission church to become self
sufficient.
